The Jam & Bottle studio — candlelit apothecary desk with Moo the cat

Born from a love of scent.

Jam & Bottle didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a room full of fragrance oils, a notebook, and the firm belief that perfume should be something you feel, not just something you spray.

The Studio

Every Jam & Bottle elixir is blended by hand in a dedicated studio in Grantham, Lincolnshire. It’s a room of amber bottles, brass scales, dried flowers, and the warm glow of candlelight. Not a factory. Not a lab. A space where each fragrance is given the time and attention it deserves.

The studio is overseen by Moo — our resident black cat, whose silhouette you’ll find in our logo, tail curled into an ampersand. She doesn’t help much with the blending, but she does insist on quality control.

Small Batch, Always

We make perfume in small batches because we believe that’s how it should be done. Each bottle is individually numbered. Each batch is made fresh with fine fragrance oils and raw materials — no shortcuts, no fillers, no mass-production.

When a batch sells out, it’s gone until the next one. That’s not scarcity marketing — that’s just what happens when one person makes everything by hand.

Perfume Elixirs

We call our fragrances elixirs because they’re more than a perfume. They’re layered, complex, gourmand-led compositions designed to evolve on your skin throughout the day. The top notes catch your attention. The heart draws you in. The base stays with you for hours.

Our scent direction is unashamedly gourmand — marshmallow, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, almond — blended with powdery florals and warm musks to create something that smells expensive without pretending to be something it isn’t.

The Name

Jam & Bottle. It’s personal. It’s direct. Pick it up, you know exactly what it is. The “&” in the middle is Moo — always at the heart of everything.
